The image here is a quick look at how a stainless steel stanchion might look when mounting 1/2″ tempered glass as a perimeter railing. The standoffs mount the glass to the tabs on the posts through holes drilled in the glass.
The other detail is the wood planks as steps, mounted to hidden steel tabs embedded in the concrete from below. There is enough space to get a wrench in to replace the planks in case of damage, or to access dropped items. The underside of the stairwell is lit with LEDs to create the glow you see here.
